Rectangle-shaped ads, known as banners, were the first clickable ads to emerge on the web. The first banner was published on October 27, 1994 on the Hotwired site and Iceland Phone Number List advertised AT&T. For many years the 728 x 90 pixel banner was very popular for advertisements on websites but little by little digital advertising was changing to other formats such as AdWords. To promote one of his Mercedes Benz models he created an old-fashioned banner to show that his car has plenty of space. We show you this creative use of online advertising.
Twenty years later, the BBDO Belgium agency took up the advantages offered by banners to advertise the Mercedes E-Class Estate, a van of which they wanted to promote the Brother Cell Phone List idea that it is very spacious. The “transportable banner” campaign shows a normal ad that turns out to be an animation that creatively seeks attention. We show you a video with this creative product.
